  Either at the time someone renews their DL or votes in person, use a digital scanner to capture their thumb print. Link registration numbers to DL numbers. As the database grows when people get their first license or renew an existing license, or when they vote, we would eventually capture the majority of qualified voters. The purpose is twofold; A voter ID verification system which would also speed up the voting process. Polls could be equipped with tablet or laptop computers preloaded with the information needed to vote and a digital reader. A potential voter would simply have have his/her thumbprint read and the preloaded data would be displayed on the screen
  Including the voter's photo, his/her assigned precinct, and information needed to provide a correct ballot. If there is no print record, the digital scanner would attach the print to that voter file for future verification. Once fully implemented the potential for voter fraud is greatly reduced.

  I do not like staying logged in all the time. Fingerprint and/or face ID is supported in settings but it would be great to use that for log on in lieu of typing a password.
