Add LA Concealed Handgun Permits

Add LA Concealed Handgun Permits to the app. They are already linked to your driver’s license, and a CHP holder in Louisiana has a duty to notify law enforcement and produce the permit.

Put conceal handgun license on just like drivers license. Handgun licenses are issued by the state police and would give the officers instant access to both IDs.

Permit is issued for 5 year periods by DPS like some driver's licenses anyway. Supposed to be in possession like a d.l. if needed.

@Citizen, this is a great idea. Being a lifetime Concealed Carry Permit holder, I would love to have this added to LA Wallet. We will work with state police to get this approved.

I do not carry my wallet when I am out walking, but I do conceal carry. Adding the permit would be so much more convenient, as I must carry my permit in my pocket. Please add it!!

Yes!! My CCP card was stolen along with my wallet. I know you can check your permit status on the Louisiana State Police Website, but to have a digital copy that goes everywhere without keeping track of tangible cards that start to add up after a while. Louisiana fishing liscense is another to combine.

This app is all or nothing. Either I can have all my state issued licenses and permits or it doesn't help. Add in concealed carry fishing and hunting licenses vehicle registration et cetera. Until you do that this app will be nothing more than a curiosity for most people.
