Add Veteran ID / DD214 card support

I would like to keep from having to carry the new New Veterans ID cards DD214

Hi Paul and thanks for the feature request. Supporting the DD214 Veteran ID card credential sounds like a great idea and we will begin looking into it. My wallet is so thick with cards that I have to take it out of my pocket when I sit down. Hopefully, we can all rest easy soon on thin wallets because of the LA Wallet.

I am a veteran and it is currently spelled out “Veteran” on my drivers license under my photo. I inquired about this on the chat line and “Dusty’s” response was, “ I believe it is on the app version as well”. Is it, or is it not?

Please add VA cards. We often have phone, but sometimes we don't have our wallets. This would be a great feature.

In addition to Veteran status also show if Disabled Veteran. There are several state programs that require proof of Veteran Disability status.

My current license displays Veteran status but I often have to prove my “Disabled Veteran” status to receive special offers or discounts given to Disabled Veterans only, and not Veterans with no service connected disabilities.

Currently, whenever I need to prove my Disabled Veteran status I have to dig out or download VA paperwork and copy or print out and physically submit the information as well as my Louisiana ID.

If my LA Drivers License displayed my Disabled Veteran status, it would be very helpful with obtaining privileges immediately, on the spot, without all the other submissions.

LDWF should accept as proof of VA disability percentage for free/discounted license purchase
