Add U.S. Passport Support
Incorporating U.S Passports to the app will definitely help save time at the airport. The problem will be international, but at least it should be stored on the app as a digital document just to keep a record in case it is lost when visiting to another country.

Calvin Fabre [Envoc] AdminThis is a great idea, Kenny and would be the "holy grail" of digital identities. Perhaps LA Wallet could become the "Planet Earth Wallet." A great place to keep a photocopy of your passport is an application called, "LastPass." You should check it out. Thanks again for the feature request and please keep them coming.

PartyLadyThere is an app called Mobile Pass, that is authorized by Customs and Border Patrol, that speeds up entry into the US. However, it is not supported at New Orleans. Hopefully, MSY will get that soon. The app does not replace your physical passport.

Joseph T FaucheuxLa Wallet should be used for traveling in the US only. The requirements are having a valid birth certificate, social security number and valid proof of residence in your State. All these documents were used when I received my La Driver's license. Since Hurricane Katrina I lost all my documents in the flood. OMV will not except a certificate of birth which was issued when I applied for a replacement birth certificate. I am willing to pay the extra fee for an ID to travel around the US only. Hopefully La Wallet will add this like they did for vaccinations for Covid. I am a 33year retired law enforcement officer from the City of New Orleans, State of Louisiana with a current concealed carry from the State of Louisiana that I apply for every year to keep my credentials current under Louisiana laws. Please add these features to La Wallet. Travel inside US, retired law enforcement and State Concealed Carry. I'm proud to have served 33 years in law enforcement. Thanks kindly, Joseph Faucheux
